HYPERFAIR GDPR COMPLIANCE

The protection of private information is fundamental to the trust Hyperverse International users have given us when choosing our service. In order to be compliant with GDPR we have implemented the following updates to our platform and practices.

PLATFORM

Hyperverse International’s products now feature an explicit consent mechanism for EU users. Existing or new users when signing up into the Hyperverse International desktop or mobile application, across any platform (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, Web, VR headsets) are presented with a one-time privacy policy. Consent to the updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are stored for compliance purposes.

Cookies: Our website may use cookies to distinguish you from other users of our Site. This helps us provide you with a good experience when you browse our Site and also allows us to improve our site. If you do not wish to accept cookies in connection with your use of this Site, you must stop using our Site, disable cookies via your browser settings (see below), or disable cookies individually. Please note that disabling cookies will affect the functionality of our Site, and may prevent you from being able to access certain features on our Site.

Links to Privacy Policy: For easy accessibility we have updated our website to include links to our Privacy Policy at places where personal data is collected.

Opt-in to Communications: Users can opt-in to communications from Hyperverse International when registering for the Hyperverse International demo environment or downloading whitepapers from our website.

POLICIES

Hyperverse International has entered into Data Protection Agreements with our vendors (subprocessors) to ensure that the privacy and security of our customer data is protected. We provide a pre-signed DPA for Hyperverse International customers. Hyperverse International’s DPA has been thoroughly vetted to comply with all GDPR and other privacy and security-related requirements, has been drafted to clearly and accurately describe the manner in which Hyperverse International consistently provides its service to all of its customers.

We have updated our Privacy Policy to be more transparent and have developed a cookie policy that describes the purpose of the cookies that Hyperverse International uses.Employee Education and TrainingIn addition to the privacy training that all Hyperverse International employees receive during on-boarding and annually thereafter, employees with roles that are customer facing (e.g. sales team) have been trained on GDPR and how it impacts their roles.

GDPR empowers data subjects (aka our users) with certain rights to help assure the privacy and protection of their personal data. These rights include:
